Bought this for checking hidden corrosion and wiring routes behind trim panels on customer vehicles. The two-way articulation is the standout feature because I can actually look around brackets instead of just staring straight ahead. The screen is bright enough to use in the workshop without dragging out my phone.
I run a mobile diagnostics business and wanted something self-contained. This inspection camera with screen is far more convenient than the USB scope I had before. It starts quickly, the 8.5mm probe gets into most access points I need, and delivery was fast.
Used it for inspecting inside an engine bay and checking around awkward housing points before stripping parts off. Image quality is very good for the money and the articulating head makes it feel like a proper workshop tool rather than a generic gadget.
Very useful for body cavity checks and under-bonnet work. The only reason it is not a full five stars from me is that a shorter probe option would be handy for some jobs, but the built-in 5-inch screen and steering control are excellent.
I compared this against a DEPSTECH unit and preferred this because it feels more focused on automotive use. No messing about with apps, no pairing issues, and the articulation gives a much better view behind concealed components.
Really solid piece of kit for a serious DIY owner. I used it to inspect a hidden cavity and look behind interior panels before buying a used car. Battery life has been good so far. The probe is slightly larger than some ultra-slim scopes, but the control makes up for it.

ToolsTest was created for UK garages, independent mechanics and hands-on vehicle owners who want proper inspection equipment without the fuss of phone pairing, app downloads or unreliable workshop connectivity. Our focus is simple: supply practical tools that save time during diagnosis and help uncover faults in places you cannot easily see.
We specialise in handheld automotive inspection equipment designed for real use around engine bays, trim panels, cavities and concealed components. Rather than offering generic home and plumbing gadgets, we concentrate on workshop-ready tools that feel right in the hand, stand up to repeated use and deliver clear, immediate visibility where it matters.
Every product in our range is selected around genuine trade priorities: portability, ease of use, durable construction and strong visual performance in awkward, low-light spaces. That means no dependence on a separate phone or laptop when you are working on-site, under the bonnet or moving between jobs.
From mobile diagnostics specialists to busy independent workshops, ToolsTest supports UK buyers who want sensible pricing, fast dispatch and equipment that earns its place in the toolbox. Our aim is to help you diagnose faster, reduce unnecessary strip-down work and inspect hidden areas with greater confidence.
Our products are designed and supported in the UK, ensuring superior quality and fast tracked delivery from our British warehouse. We offer free UK delivery on all orders, eco-friendly packaging to reduce carbon footprint, and warm, direct customer service.
